Stenerson Lumber employees now enjoy up to 4 weeks of PTO in their first year! 

With a new comprehensive Paid Time Off (PTO) program, employees can rest assured that they have the time to enjoy work-life balance and handle personal matters.  The updated program allows for greater flexibility of use, increased visibility, simpler application, and earlier access to time.  It also adds a handful of days to be use for physical or mental health as well as an opportunity for rest and recreation.  Some PTO hours are earned by a working hour accrual and additional are allowed on a longevity/time-served basis.  The program retains the generous carryforward provisions of up to 60 days of banked PTO, while still allowing some PTO to be accessed for anniversary or hardship payout.  Even part-timers now have access to PTO hours!

Stenerson Lumber celebrated Military Appreciation month in a big way this year! We added a discount of 10% to all active military members, retirees, and veterans year-round! This discount must be taken at time of purchase (no refunds) and allows up to $500 off every project that they complete.  Restrictions apply to clearance items and the military discount can not be combined with other discounts.

The team also raised $740  (which the company matched) for a donation of $1480 to Operation Gratitude.  We sent more than 100 care packages to troops stationed overseas.

We are excited to announce that all three Stenerson Lumber locations are now carrying Stinger brand cap staplers! These cap staplers allow you to easily attach house wrap or roof liner with one-handed operation.  Using cap staples to attach liners helps prevent punctures and holes by spreading the staple’s holding power over a larger surface, through the cap.  The cap also helps prevent the membrane from being cut from the front edge of the stapler. More holding power = less fasteners used and less holes in your liner! Choose from manual feed or auto-feed mechanical staplers or the pneumatic tool.  All three shoot the green 1″ cap staples that are tested to hold your liner securely to the surface even through strong winds and are proven to resist cracking from UV exposure up to 10 times longer than hand-driven cap nails.

Stenerson Lumber is now offering ultra-low maintenance aluminum pergola kits from Great Plains Pergolas.  Add the style of a beautiful pergola to your next outdoor living project!  Imagine filtered sunlight and shade without the tedious task of refinishing!
